The GP Out-of-Hours service registers every medical request in a system. If you have been in contact with the GP Out-of-Hours service, we will send a message to your own GP after the shift has ended. This way, your GP will know what the GP Out-of-Hours service has done for you. This report will be added to your medical file by your own GP. All phone calls are also recorded for quality purposes.

More information, better care

Illness, injury or an accident often come unexpectedly. The GP treating you at the GP Out-of-Hours Service does not know you. Therefore, it is beneficial if the healthcare provider can view your patient details. This requires that data can be exchanged, and for this we need your prior consent. The system used to exchange this data is called the LSP (Landelijk Schakelpunt – National Exchange Point).

Your data sharing

Your GP and pharmacy are only allowed to share your medical information with other healthcare providers if you give them prior consent. Other healthcare providers may only access your information if it is necessary for your treatment.
